
As our team captain, Tim is responsible for delivering the best services to our clients. With his MBA from Southern Methodist University of Dallas and Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University, he leads our team in a business with the focus on providing our clients with high quality, personalized tax, consulting, and accounting services.
Before starting Thompson and Company from scratch in January of 2005, Tim spent considerable time on the court with AutoNation, Inc., America’s Largest retailer of both new and used vehicles, on and off the web. As the Group Controller, Director of Productivity Improvements, District Compliance Manager and Inventory Manager for the Texas Regions, he managed and created systems and tools to efficiently and profitably run 16 franchised dealerships.
Along with the knowledge and skills acquired through AutoNation, Tim held several other esteemed positions such as the Manager of Logistics for Hydrotex, Inc., Chief Financial Officer for Herkimer Cheerleading, L.P., Production Planning Manager for the Tank Car Group of Trinity Industries, Inc. of Dallas, and a Financial Consultant for Bledsoe Dodge.
From initial analysis and addressing the needs of maturing businesses, to creating, implementing and sustaining successful company plans, Tim has been a visionary leader on every platform. Outside of the company walls, Tim is passionate about fatherhood, music, the arts, and ministering through local churches and nonprofit causes and events.
Tim leads his team and continues to build on his dream of growing slowly, to ensure our team takes the time to provide individual and unmatched attention to each customer. Taking his experience and knowledge of business operations through real-world experience have given Thompson & Company an invaluable edge in relating to clients and building quick rapport with an acquired client base. His dedication to serving his clients and extensive financial knowledge make Tim a leader worth following and Thompson & Company the accounting firm worth having on your side.
Sharon comes to our team with a BBA degree in accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Texas and New Mexico and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
In her 25 years as a CPA, Sharon has been exposed to a multitude of projects from individual taxes to multi-million dollar manufacturers. She currently performs audits of HUD Multi-family entities (an expected area of growth in the coming decade), prepares individual and corporate tax returns, provides timely tax planning, and monitors several of the firm's internal reporting programs.
Sharon enjoys camping, hiking and reading in her free time.

Jodie brings over 8 years of combined business, finance and special operations management to Thompson & Company. A diverse background in both education and business have equipped her with a playbook that offers our company a fresh perspective in the field. Her commitment to excellence is apparent through her dedication to creatively and consistently maintain and improve our business.
Jodie spends her free time with her daughter and participating in various ministries within her Bible Church. She also enjoys photography, sports, music, and mission work to assist the homeless or service men and women.
Although Jodie is our newest Thompson & Company team member, it is obvious that she is an integral player who will not only keep our team spirit high, she will also play a vital role in its future success.
Kelli is our 1990 Texas A&M University graduate with a Degree in Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. She brings 15 years of public and private accounting experience to the court and became a CPA in 1992.
Kelli’s strong plays include her experience with audits and reviews. Additionally, she has experience as an audit manager, private controller, assistant controller, director of PeopleSoft Operations, and the project manager for PeopleSoft implementation. Her experience in both public and industry accounting gives Kelli a vision and understanding of how businesses work, beyond that of just a good record of financial statements. Kelli goes above and beyond overtime as a mother of two children, wife of one, and owner of two dogs, one cat and some fish! As if that weren’t enough, she also enjoys scrapbooking and traveling!

Justine comes to the team with over a decade of managerial experience, including the three most recent years she has devoted to Thompson & Company. Her strong sense of customer service, prompt resolution to client needs and accounting knowledge help her achieve her daily goal of customer satisfaction. Justine is dedicated to providing both the highest quality of work and customer service.
In her free time, Justine enjoys attending local community events, participating in outdoor activities, sewing and spending time with her family.

Randy brings over 25 successful years of General Management and Corporate Executive level experience in the Computer Networking industry. He has over 18 years on board with the computer networking company, Harris-Lanier Corporation. Randy also teamed up to catapult sales in the automotive industry, resulting in doubled annual growth for the Bledsoe Automotive Group. He successfully merged the Bledsoe Automotive Group with AutoNation the largest automtoive retailer in the U.S.
Randy’s time in Corporate Marketing equipped him with vital skills and knowledge that extend into business and strategic product planning, product development, product marketing, pricing, product testing, sales training, advertising and distribution channel development. His expertise in these areas has made him a go-to team player for Thompson & Company.
Off of the company field, Randy is a Chairman of Alumni and Public Relations for the LSU Business School, La Fiesta de Lad Seis Bandera’s Order of the Flag member, CASA fundraiser and supporter, O.M.Roberts Elementary School volunteer and tutor as well as a Score Chapter Business Consulting volunteer.
